The project integrates advanced knitting methods, experimental weaving structures, and contemporary print design to create a cohesive yet diverse body of work.
KNITTING
Employing tuck, jacquard, and bobble stitches, the knit series investigates texture, pattern, and structural adaptability. Outcomes include striped knit tote bags, precision-fitted laptop sleeves, and sculptural draped forms, demonstrating both functional application and aesthetic versatility.
WEAVING
This segment merges traditional weave structures—plain, basket, twill, and zig-zag—with innovative material integration, including the use of upcycled plastic bags. Inspiration from organic forms, such as the flowing arcs of purple fountain grass, informs pattern development and color palettes, resulting in textiles that balance sustainability, craftsmanship, and visual intrigue.
